Fred A Moss


  Dr. Fred A. Moss (1896−1966) distinguished himself as a physician, psychiatrist, and psychologist, who was a pioneer in treating mental and nervous conditions.  He established, owned, and operated the Moss Sanitarium for Mental and Nervous Diseases in Alexandria, Virginia from 1936 to 1942.  He did considerable research there and served as an editor in the field of Psychology for Prentice-Hall Publisher.  Dr. Moss was active in financial management and was commissioned by stockbrokers Merrill, Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, and Smith, Inc. to write a book for doctors with his recommendations for successful investing.
