Carl Dan Killian


  Dr. Carl Dan Killian (PhD.) (1903−1976) was a noted Educator, who began his career teaching at Hayesville High School, where he introduced I.Q. testing for the first time.  He taught at several colleges and, at the end of his career, he was Head of the Department of Education at Western Carolina University.  A building on that campus has been named for him, honoring his many achievements.
