The local County Government has built a Community Service building in each of these precincts: Tusquittee, Hiawassee, Brasstown, and Sweetwater. Shooting Creek precinct uses its fire station and Hayesville’s community center is located on Ritter Road. All are voting centers except Hayesville, which has three other voting locations. Each precinct has active service clubs (too numerous to list) that are run by volunteers, and they meet and hold functions at these locations. One exception, the Jarrett Community Organization is self-supporting and is active with their Community Beautification program and Christmas Lane Luminary display.
